- How many people can play Pawty Draw?
- 2 to 12 players. Up to 6 phones connect to the host over Bluetooth; up to 12 can play on a shared Wi-Fi network. Larger groups can split into three teams.
- Do we need internet to play?
- Everyone in the same room: no internet. Phones connect to each other over Bluetooth (up to 6 players) or the same Wi-Fi (up to 12). Anyone joining from somewhere else: the host starts an online room, and then everyone needs internet.
- Is Pawty Draw free?
- Yes. The app is free to download on iOS and Android and comes with three word packs (Animals, Sports and Around the House). Eight more packs are available in the in-app Pack Store.
- Do players need accounts?
- No accounts, no sign-ups. The host starts a room, shares a five-character code, and everyone joins by typing it in.
- Is it a good Christmas or Thanksgiving party game?
- That is what it was built for: a group drawing game for people who are already in the same room. Rounds are short, so it fits between dinner and dessert, and everyone plays on their own phone rather than crowding one screen.
- What are the game modes?
- Standard is the classic draw-and-guess round. Rush tightens the clock and scoring for faster turns. Memo hides the drawing before the answer options appear, so you guess from memory.
