iian: a bilingual website, off the monthly builder

Why they came to us

iian, a renewable-energy engineering company, was paying a monthly subscription to a template site builder. Their site is a calling card that rarely changes, so the fee bought them very little. They asked whether they could keep a good site and drop the bill.

What we did

We started with who visits: partners and clients checking the company's track record, in English or in Korean. Then we rebuilt the site around them, with projects up front, plain copy, both languages side by side, and the calm, editorial style the team asked for.

It is now a fast static site with no builder behind it, and every old address redirects to its new page, so existing links and search results still land in the right place.

Where it landed

No more builder subscription, and a site that reads better on a phone. Design, build and launch, live since September 2026.

Field sites on a map

What it is

A private web app that puts a company's field sites on a map. The team had been tracking every installation in spreadsheets; now each site is a pin with its specs and a maintenance log.

What it does

  • One overview: a filterable list of every site next to the map. Pick a row and the map flies to it.
  • A page per site with its equipment details and location.
  • A maintenance log for each site: the date of every visit, what was done and the result.
  • Search by country, and sign-in so only the team can see it.

What we did

Took the data out of the spreadsheets and onto a map: designed and built the app, with one form for adding or editing any site.
