PawFive

1. Description of the App

PawFive is a social platform for dog owners. It helps you discover dog-friendly places, connect with other dog owners, and organize in-person playdates, including optional live location sharing with playdate participants. PawFive is a venue that connects users: we do not vet, screen, or conduct background checks on users, and we are not a party to any meetup arranged through the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use PawFive. Because the App is designed to arrange in-person meetings between users, it is intended for adults only. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile truthful — including about yourself and your dogs
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure
• You may not impersonate another person or create an account for anyone other than yourself

4. In-Person Meetups and Assumption of Risk

Playdates arranged through PawFive happen in the real world, between people and dogs we do not control.

We encourage common-sense precautions: meet in public dog-friendly places, keep your dog under control, and report any concerning behaviour through the App's reporting tools.

5. Your Dog

You are solely responsible for your dog at all times, including:

• Your dog's behaviour, including any injury or damage it causes to people, other animals, or property
• Complying with local laws and park rules, including leash bylaws, licensing, and vaccination requirements
• Deciding whether your dog is healthy, vaccinated, and well-suited to interact with other dogs and people

6. Location Sharing

Live location sharing during playdates is optional, off by default, and controlled by you. When you turn it on, your real-time position is visible to that playdate's participants — including while the App is in the background — until you turn it off. You are responsible for deciding when to share your location. Misusing another user's shared location (for example, for stalking or harassment) is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement. 7. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post (profiles, photos, comments, reviews, playdates). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the App as needed to operate the service. You are solely responsible for your content and must have the rights to anything you post. We may remove any content at our discretion, including content that violates these Terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm other users — online or in person
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that endangers anyone — including any content that violates our Child Safety Standards
• Use the App for commercial solicitation, spam, or advertising without our permission
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the App or its security, or access it by automated means
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law

9. Moderation, Suspension, and Termination

We may investigate reports, remove content, and suspend or permanently terminate accounts at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms, without prior notice or refund. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time — see Delete Account.

10. Subscriptions and Purchases

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be managed or cancelled in your store account settings. Refunds are handled according to the applicable store's policies. Prices may change with notice through the store. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

11. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Honeymilk Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other property except the limited right to use the App as intended.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of place information, or uninterrupted availability. Map data, place details, and other third-party information may be inaccurate or out of date — verify important details (such as park rules) yourself.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Honeymilk Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from (a) the conduct of any user, online or offline; (b) any meetup, playdate, or interaction between users or their dogs; (c) use or misuse of shared location data; or (d) your use of or inability to use the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim or CAD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Honeymilk Studio from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your conduct at meetups, your dog, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
